The Part D out-of-pocket cap rises to $2,400 from $2,100. The standard deductible rises to $700 from $615.

The temporary Part D premium stabilization program ends this year. CMS still projects the average standalone drug plan premium rises less than $1 a month, to about $36.

Average Medicare Advantage premiums are projected to fall to $12.00 from $14.37.

Negotiated prices for 15 drugs, including Ozempic, Wegovy and Rybelsus, take effect Jan 1, AP reports.

Social Security’s cost-of-living adjustment for 2027 is 3.6%, about $75 a month.

Why it matters

Premiums are flat or lower, so most of the 2027 cost change lands in deductibles and the cap, which people only feel once they start filling prescriptions.
