Paid plan feature

One JSON file per state your systems can pull.

The same numbers as the county lookup and the state files, in a stable shape. 53 states, rebuilt each time CMS posts a new month.

Access comes with a paid Data Desk plan. Our sales executive sets up your client key. The free county lookup stays free.

  • State Desk: a key for your state.
  • Group plan: a key for your 3 states.
  • Enterprise plan: a key for every state.

Built 2026-10-24. Sources: CMS plan files CY2026 and CY2027, CPSC enrollment October 2026, 2027 Plan Crosswalk, Star Ratings 2026 and 2027, CY2026 Agent Broker Compensation Data.

Endpoints

GET /data/feed/v1/index.jsonAll states, each with its SHA-256, size, plan, county and member counts.
GET /data/feed/v1/TX.jsonTexas: 421 plans, 254 counties, 2,741,302 members, 2.1 MB.

How to call it

curl -H "X-Feed-Key: YOUR_CLIENT_KEY" \
  https://healthandtechnow.com/data/feed/v1/TX.json

Send your key in the X-Feed-Key header. No key returns 401. A key that is not active returns 403, and so does a state your plan does not cover. The index file works with any active key.

Sample: one Texas plan

Sample only: 3 of 421 Texas plans and 1 of 254 counties (Harris), with the first 2 ending plans and first 3 moves. The full file comes with a paid plan. Open the sample file

Fields

plans[]
One row per 2027 plan in the state: plan_id, name, parent, type, snp, premium, moop, stars_2027, stars_2026, part_d, agent_pay_2026, benefits_2027 (giveback, over the counter, dental maximums, main copays from the CMS PBP Benefits 2027 file) and star_measures_url (every 2027 measure star for the contract).
counties[]
One row per county: fips, name, plans_2027 (plan IDs), plan_count_2026, members_oct_2026, insurers with members, agent_pay_2026_county.
counties[].exits_2027
members, stay, moved, must_pick, hidden_rows, ending_plans with reason, and moves from each 2026 plan to its 2027 plan.
sources[]
Every CMS file behind the numbers, with its release date and link.
notes[]
How we counted, including the floor rule for hidden counts.

Schema version 1.1, which added benefits_2027 and star_measures_url. Within v1 we only add fields, never rename or remove them. Member counts are floors because CMS hides counts of 10 or fewer. Agent pay is the 2026 file; the 2027 file is not out yet. Facts from public CMS files, not plan advice.
